This is ruffled vest that it was included in the Resort summer collection of 2010, but i decided is the perfect candidate for this mini accessories collection. It is made out of velvet and the closure is with chains. The ruffle detail is very chic, as per total is a total hit !

This is a handwoven scarf. For the wintery like days it is awsum because it makes you feel really cozzy. I used cotton jersey strips and wool yarn for making this multi colored, long, heavy scarf.

This is a plain scarf. The fabric used was chiffon in a beautiful floral print. Lovely scarf for a lovely lady that loves a bit of a color in this not very shinny days :)

What is good is that it can be worn in 2 ways ;) It can be tight in front with a bow and is looking like a shawl or it can be tight at the back and it is looking like a cape/bolero. The fabric is 100% cotton and it is slightly shimmering. The color is plum.

This is a cotton jersey dress with dropped sleeve and ornaments on the shoulders. The ornaments are handmade, so you won't find two the same ! I find that this is a perfect dress for a night out in a beach club as it's light and not too much fancy, just perfect for a modern girl.

The Chanel like

Who doesn't love Chanel? Who cannot love the simple and chic way she dressed thousands of women? Well this complete is a tribute to the classic classy (:D) Chanel jacket. For completing the look i created a high waisted skirt in matching fabric. The fabric is 100% cotton, it has an interesting texture. The trim is totally handmade from yarn threads and from threads from the fabric, plus a silver metallic thread that is making it more glamorous.

The Swan Lake

The complete is made of 100% cotton fabric in an ivory color. The skirt is made with 4 ruffled tiers and the waistband is really unique, featuring a manual machine embroidery that can be find at the cuffs of the blouse too. The blouse is made from 6 panels where you will find the princess seam matching up with the total feminity of the skirt. The straight lines are overstitched and the rounded ones are not, thing that symbolise the two personalities of a woman: one is tough and thoughtfull and the other one is feminine and possessed by the emotions.

Recently I watched a movie about First World War scottish soldiers. Somehow I got inspired by the outfits they were wearing so i created this cozy cape with gold details. The chains are fully detachable so the cape can be worn only with the 6 gold/black buttons. It is double breasted, so the two rows of buttons are not just for ornamentation. I made a double Peter Pan collar. I forgot to say that the fabric is a cozy navy fleece !! But i can assure you this cape would look just stunning in woolen tartan or any other kind of tweed fabric.

What can i say about this one? Everyone knows the tunic, and this is one made with 100% cotton fabric. It has round neckline and A-line shape both in the body and the sleeves. The fabric is a really special one, if you look closer you will see that it is changing color depending the lighting conditions. It can be redish...or greyish, because of the alternance of this two color threads in the weave of the fabric.

This dress is made out of natural tweed fabric in an dark grey color. The skirt is cut in tulip pattern with 3 pleats on each side. The bodice has beautiful and feminine princess seams and the bib detail at the neck. The outfit is completed by the luxurious looking beige/golden cropped jacket with stovepipe collar. EllyWear blouse & gift box

Some days back i finished this silk chiffon teal blouse, that i made specially for my friend, Gabriela. As she likes green color very much, i made a special box tied with green bow. It looked perfect and she liked it a lot. Anyone that likes unique pieces of wardrobe can order a custom made EllyWear that will come in a personalised EllyWear gift box.
Now i can tell you why i didnt post or make any other collection. This summer had an accident with an electric sewing machine, so i couldnt sew for about 1 month. After that i starteed studying pattern making, and now im working on new collection for fall/winter. Hope i didnt lose all my readers because of this and i promise i will keep on posting from now on. Now i gotta go back to work !! (jacket is waiting for me :) ).

This row is dedicated to jackets , capes and vests. First we have a short safari print shirt. In second place comes a theater ruffled vest made out of black velvet. Bratara Coppria a fost creata din lant din aluminiu cuprat si margele charm din sticla, acril, semipretioase. Contine: un pandantiv jasp, un cristal multifatetat electroplacat (14 mm), un pandantiv acrilic central multifatetat, o margea tip Murano rosie, trei margele acrilice (verde crud perlat, albastru inchis cu aspect cauciucat si cafeniu cu urme aurii).

The Coppria bracelet is made out of aluminium copper plated chain and charms of glass, acrylic or gemstone material. It contains: one jasper pendant, one faceted electroplate crystal (14 mm), one acrylic pandant as a center piece, one Murano style red bead and three acrylic beads (green pearlised color, deep blue and brown with golden stripes).

Bratara este confectionata din chips-uri din turcoaz natural si lant din cupru patinat. Inspiratia am primit-o de la imaginile unui bazar oriental aflat in capitala Siriei, Damasc.

This bracelet is inspired from the images of an oriental market from Damascus, the capital of Syria. I made it out of natural turquoise chips and antique bronze copper chain.

Ice-cream in the winter

Ce incanta mai mult o femeie decat o floare?
Aceasta este noua colectie de brose "Ice-cream in the winter". Fiecare brosa are o forma specifica, tocmai de aceea am ales sa le denumesc. Important este ca daca iti place o forma, insa doresti alte culori, acest lucru este posibil. Aici am afisat numai primele brose din fiecare fel. Astept sugestiile voastre. Brosele au preturi cuprinse intre 15-40 RON, maine probabil voi reveni cu mai multe poze si cu preturile la fiecare. Aceste brose sunt multifuntionale, putand fi purtate si ca accesoriu pentru par (bentita) sau elastic sau ca pandantiv agatat pe un lant (datorita sistemului se prindere cu ac de brosa - vezi imaginea 2). Acestea sunt cusute cu ata din nylon transparent, astfel incat se observa foarte putin cusatura (sau aproape deloc:D). Aceasta colectie de 10 piese este formata din flori simple, insa la acestea pot fi adaugate accesorii metalice sau lanturi, dupa gust.
Sper ca v-a placut si va invit sa urmariti blogul meu de bijuterii lucrate manual in continuare, deoarece mai am surprize pentru voi.

What makes a women happier than a flower?
This is the new collection of brouches, named "Ice-cream in the winter". Each one has a specific shape and that's the reason why I decided to name each one of them. What is important is that if you like a shape but you want different color, contact me to discuss about it. This brouches can be used in many ways: as a hair accesory or as a pandant on a chain. They are sewed by hand with transparent nymo thread, so it is almost invisible. This collection contains simple flowers but we can embelish them with metalic accesories or chains.

I created this earrings after i first watch Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring for first time in this summer. I was impressed by the acting of Cate Blanchett as Galadriel - The lady of Lothlorien. I think this earrings fit perfectly to the caracter - "the fairest and the brightest of the elves". I used white freshwater pearls, which i must confess are my favourite beads.

This project i saw in a beading magazine and i thought of trying it also. Ofcorse, everything it's changed in the design, from the beads i used till the color of the coil. I used for this pair: copper wire, carnelian chips, hematite beads and czech crystals in grey color. I think that this earrings fit very well for a night in a club ;)

Bracelet in the waves

This is a big bracelet, I mean that it is thick. I used for making it copper wire, glass beads and silver foil beads, mother of pearl big round coin and a copper antique color metalic coin. Excepting the beads, everything it is handmade by me.

I dont know why this pandant it is reminding me of the Nile, the great river of Africa. Maybe because the spirals that i used on top and bottom of the design are looking like stormy waves or maybe that the 3 raws from the center of the project look like some shiny golden grain fields. For this project i used copper wire in 3 diameters and matching color glass crystals.

This is the first pandant i made this summer. One afternoon i was playing with the wire and look at the result:D. I say it is an abstract pattern, I just wanted to fill the blank space with something. So i used glass beads, silver foil beads and wooden beads. Hope you will like it :)

The white tree of Gondor pandant

This summer i watched the trilogy of the Lord of the Rings again and again. Out of this it came this pandant that i wanted to be a lucky charm for its future owner. Its made with copper wire (for the frame) and silver plated wire with carnelian chips. I used carnelian as it is my signs gemstone. So, guess whats my sign :P

Fluorite Set

This is set is made out of tiny gemstone chips. As you can see in the photographs, i took every chip and put it on a headpin. After that I chained all this chips forming this finished product. This is a long necklace (very long, if you ask me:D) that i made out of copper wire and wood beads in a natural color. As is seen in the first photo, i made every link of the chain plus the eye pins for the beads from copper. The second photo shows how is better to be weared.

When i went to vacations I forgot my favourite bookmark home. So, I said that I can make a new one out of the copper wire i bought for jewelry making. This bookmark its made of copper wire and glass beads. The "model" its a Gabriel Garcia Marquez book, named "Of love and other demons" (this is my translation, so, it can be a little bit wrong if you ask me ;)) ). This is a nice novel that i recommend to everyone to read:)

Waist belt for a princess

Hollydays where something special this year and experienced a lot of new things. For first time i could see rain in Pafos:by the way, this is a part of my yard there, where autumn leaves never come :)
Also, my interest in making jewelry have moved for wire working and fabric jewelry. Hope you will like it, as seen in the first photo of the post.
Unfortunatly i could'nt work so much this summer, because of lack of time (mainly). But now, as i am home and a masters degree student, I will surely have more free time.

Colierul este confectionat din chipsuri de pietre semipretioase (amazonit), margele hematit, margele Murano cu foita de argint, accesorii metalice inoxidabile si incuietoare decorativa.
